My buddy Aaron got a 'new to him' tractor today! Guess who gets to make it usable? It has been sitting the last 5-10 years. But, in about 3 hrs., I had it where it fired off with carb cleaner. Got lots to do yet, but it will run when I'm done. If someone can point me to the correct manuals for this, I'd be very grateful. Serial is 26001319 as best we can tell.

At least one deck spindle is frozen up. PTO clutch wire is broken off, but repairable. Carb will need major cleaning I'm sure. Along with the fuel tank. And lubing things all over. The Shuttle lever will not move right now.

That is odd how the steering wheel is off-set like that.

Well there's something you don't see every day. A nice lichen finish on the dash.

That should be a nice machine when you get it fixed up.

Nice looking tractor. Aaron wants to get this one looking that nice. Has found decals already. Can you get a pic of the muffler? This one is missing!

I think I will have to pull the engine so I can take the shrouds off and clean behind them. Lots of nut hulls tried to blow out when it fired off.

A nice lichen finish on the dash.

Does that mean it was parked facing south. ;-)

Biggest issue so far looks to be the frozen deck spindles. But I stiil need to get it running well enough to see if it will move. Most of the shift/shuttle linkage doesn't move very well either. Time for lots of Acetone/ATF going on things here.

The shuttle shift can be cantankerous.  If you have problems, member "skunkhome" can help you.  Phil has a shuttle shifter, and he loves it.

/.

. Actually the serial number is 01319. The first three digits are the last three digits of the product number. 1600260. Here is the owners manual.

Strictly a mower if we can get the deck fixed.

Thank you! I'm having a hard time getting it into gear and getting the shuttle lever to move. Mother Nature was trying to make everything grow together.
