Welcome to the tractor asylum. We are all crazy, but it is a good kind of crazy.

There is no known cure for a tractor addiction. Some have tried building a bigger shed to contain the overflow of old iron, however this is contraindicated. the building of larger storage facilities leads to a vacuum that is filled by even more tractors.

Side effects of tractoritis may include:

Dreaming of tractors.

Constantly blackened hands.

Excessive swearing.

Skinned knuckles.

Maniacal smile across the face of the afflicted when looking at pictures of old Garden Tractors.

Some sufferers have reported excessive alcohol consumption.

Ask you accountant if a Garden tractor is right for you.

Whoa.  Didn't remember you being that close. :smilewink:   Yes, I'm on the other side of town near Stony Brook / East York.  The forum's owner, NUTNDUN,  lives just outside of Dover.

The Little Guys show is right in Manchester and unlike most of the local steam and tractor shows, it's strictly garden tractors and such.  I highly recommend attending on Saturday as Sunday it's deserted.  I'm assuming the GTTalk tent will be set up as I know at least George Sr. said he would be there.  Look for us there.

By the way, if I remember correctly, it doesn't cost anything to display a tractor.  I think if you want to ride around you need to join the club, though.

That Ingersoll would look mighty fine on the show field.... I'm just sayin'

Oh man....quit dangling that carrot in front of my face!  I think we'll be coming up Saturday and I'm looking forward to it....I will definitely stop by the GTT tent and will introduce myself.  Luckily for me I don't own a trailer (yet!) so I can't bring anything with me....besides the front wheels are dirty and I noticed a spot of grease on one of the rear fenders so it would just be too embarrassing.

Welcome to GTT. We are not like AA! We encourage the addiction. To make it easier, set a spending limit. I collected 36+ for free and another 30 for $100 or less. Now, I've got way too many. Once you see how kids love them you will get more and more. I got my son his first when he was 2. He had the biggest smile sitting on it and stearing it around the yard. Good Luck, Rick

Welcome to GTT.

Yes, sure does sound like you're hooked.

Well, I for one won't be helping you cure your addiction.

We like having more company around here that share the affliction. :D
