Dang you guys!  I've been hanging around here and reading stuff and now, out of the blue and all of a sudden, I want to buy another tractor...something to work on, something to pour money into, something to "have", something to take pictures of, and something for the grandkids to ride around on.  I guess the collector bug bit me, huh?

My meager little collection (that I feel will be growing in the, hopefully, near future) is shown:

Help me, please!  I have a feeling this could be an addiction where one is too many and a thousand are not enough!  Give me strength to avoid Craigs List.   Give me willpower to avoid screeching to a halt at yardsales where some tractors lurk.  Hold me back when I see a For Sale sign hanging off some forlorn piece of iron in someone's yard.  Help me....before it's too late!

I strongly recommend counseling. OCD is a terrible thing. Seeing as you already have three, it's probably too late, though.

Once you are into your 4th tractor there is no looking back. Looks like you have a large property so you very well could need a backup mower, a backup snow blower, a loader tractor etc. There are lots of possibilities.

Yes, it is an addiction.  Fortunately, there is a 12 step cure.  Unfortunately, 12th step is dying.  Grab a coffee.  You'll be here awhile.

Thanks all for the words of hopeless encouragement folks and thanks for the welcomes!  I do like the idea of backup equipment and could probably convince my wife that we need backups for the backup equipment.  Besides, after looking through this site, there are a whole bunch of colors we don't even have yet....I'll be looking for blue ones, green ones, brown ones, and every other color in between.

FWIW, my wife asked to use my cell last night and when she went to use it, the screen was on GTT forums.

It's not so much that you need multiple backups, it's that you need a tractor for each attachment what with all the effort to swap them back and forth.... :thumbs:

I don't know for sure what part of PA you're from but if I remember correctly it wasn't too far from here.  You know... there's a garden tractor show this weekend... I'm sure there will be a few tractors for sale.... :D

We live in West York (Thomasville P.O.).  If I remember correctly, we live on opposite sides of York?  I REALLY didn't need to hear about that tractor show this weekend.....might just have to tell the missus to rustle up a clean dress since we're going out on the town!

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: skin rash or hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.

Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:

  • very stiff (rigid) muscles, high fever, sweating, confusion, fast or uneven heartbeats, feeling like you might pass out;
  • agitation, hallucinations, fever, overactive reflexes, tremors;
  • nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, feeling unsteady, loss of coordination; or
  • headache, trouble concentrating, memory problems, weakness, fainting, seizure, shallow breathing or breathing that stops.

Less serious side effects may include:

  • drowsiness, dizziness, tired feeling;
  • mild nausea, stomach pain, upset stomach, constipation;
  • dry mouth;
  • changes in appetite or weight;
  • sleep problems (insomnia); or
  • decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.

This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects.
