nglauer that's an Awesome muffler. You ever thought of making up a bunch of those to sell?

Not really.... but I bet I could make them and still sell them for a lot less than a new OEM one on ebay lol.

The aftermarket mufflers are pretty good structurally, however they dont always hold their exterior paint as well as an OEM one. (From my experiences)

I can order you either an OEM or aftermarket one if your interested.

Just a quick up-date on my muffler from  E-Bay... It looks like the original... I drilled out holes in the inlet and exhaust side,,, to breathe better...  Was mowing yesterday and the intake side where the  1 1/2 " goe's into the can,,, The weld all around it came appart..  Now  this muffler has been on for about 3 months and been used about  6 times..

CHEAP  Tiwan crap..  The weld looks good all around  the seam,, but it had no penatration  where it goes into the main can..

I hate it when you buy somthing  and it needs repair almost out of the box...   I don't have a mig,, so I'll have to take it somewhere to do the job RIGHT

JUST  RANTING- :mad2: --    Have a nice day

Well that really stinks. I'll save my money for longer until I can buy good quality. There is so much stuff out there that looks great but often the price will say otherwise.
