is there a vent plug on this hydro unit? i have fluid blowing out the input shaft seal.it leaked when i got it and i put in a new seal and still have this leak. thanks

I'm not familiar with those tractors but I know a blocked vent will result in oil being forced out through the weakest point. In general terms the vent is normally going to be near the top of the hydro unit reservoir. I bought a JD314 and oil was leaking from the axle seals. I found that the vent filter was replaced with an unvented fuel filter allowing pressure to build up. An easy fix in that case.

My 1450 hydro has a vent in the fill cap under the seat. I am not sure if all units had that. I uploaded a Service & Parts Manual just now.
