Very cool Doug, What are you missing and what engine is that? Maybe we can do some parts trading.

He's missing the entire shift rail/fork system, and the top tranny mainshaft & gears. Hand crank is a former owner add-on....not any form of OE.

Doug, if you had an electric speed control, and reversible electric motor, you could drive the rear end through the brake shaft that is on the end of the pinion shaft.  You would lose the 2 speed rear end function, but with the right electric motor & controls you might not need it.  But without the mainshaft, there is no power connection for the rear pto.

Doug, the pic with the tractor lifted off the ground....that shaft is where the rear brakes & drum mounts.  This is where I am speaking of possibly connecting the motor to.  That is an extension of the pinion shaft.  So other missing parts is also the drum & brake shoe system.  And of course the pto clutch is missing off the engine, but that's of no consequence to you anyway.

The motor has no tags on it but you can just make out the Wisconsin decal, also has no carb and is not seized.

As for what's missing from the trany, Dan's got that covered in the above post.

Want to try to fix this trany or replace with another, kinda want to have the PTO shaft and the brake.

I figured the hand crank was an add on, first time I've seen or heard of one on a garden tractor of any make. Cool idea though.

Congrats on the BH Doug. You should be able to get the parts you need to get it moving again.
