Finally made it to Scott's last night and picked up my very first Bush Hog. Kind of excited! You never see these tractors in my neck of the woods. Was very surprised and intrigued when he told me it's electrical system is positive ground. I'm going to have to research that to find out why. No pics yet, was dark upon my arrival. Scott also saved me some Massey parts from the last time we met.

What model did you buy from him? I didn't know any of the BH had positive grounds on them?

It's a D4-10. Nice little tractor. Needs a battery, rear tires, paint, choke and throttle cables are frozen.

Went to Scott's Friday evening, had a concealed weapons class here at the shop Saturday, hauled ass to Virginia Saturday night(stepson received his Master's degree from ODU), built new steps for the house yesterday, mowed 3 acres of grass(2 of which hadn't been cut in 4 years) and put in a small garden. Kinda beat.

Thanks Scott. Momma wants a Bush Hog of her own if/when you come across another one. She also wants a round hood Speedex.
