I have a '93 GT6000 917.250051 and need to know where the tie rod would attach to the electric actuator bar. Any help would be appreciated. I am going to fabricate my own sleeve hitch.

I think that you have this model of electric lift.
In the parts manual for your tractor (http://www.craftsman.../917.250051.pdf) it shows that number. HOWEVER, if you research that number, it says "For tractors with transmission pulley on top" or some derivation of that.

I am assuming it will work with either, or the Parts manual has a typo... Lets hope it will work for either... You have the unit there and can compare these manuals to it to see if the 124371x looks like the right one.

If that is the case, Here is the installation manual for it.

Good luck and :welcome: to GTTalk

After looking at your info, Alan, that looks similar to the electric lift on my Craftsman III (917.254420). I need to look into that setup more. It did have the P220 Onan in it.

Thanks so much. Even though the actuator doesn't attach exactly the same on my tractor, the attachment point is what I needed. Looks like I have to remove a nut, bolt and some washers and replace with a pin and clip. By the way, the stack on the one pic was just me playing around with building some mufflers. I tried making the original muffler with automotive type baffles, but the back pressure was a little higher and caused too much crankcase pressure. I have since built another more to original design.
