Hey guys I have a 1956 DB Handiman. I never owned one of these until recently. I got a snowblower and a rototiller attachment for this and i would like to know if someone could tell me how to hook these up that would be great because i never did it before and i have no idea how.....I got it running by putting a later briggs magneto in and removing the points which i did a couple months ago before putting it aside. I just today finished getting it running on its own after using starting fluid to see if it would run a couple months ago. So now i want to atleast get the snow blower on so i can use it the rest of the winter.....so any help or pics are greatly appreciated.....also this is the small blueish color one not the big red one.....

Glad you got it running now. I don't know anything about these tractors, but I think they are pretty neat machines! I wasn't aware that DB had blue tractors.

I haven't been around the Handiman Jr.s much but I believe the attachments slide in the front with a quick mount very similar to the big red tractors.

There's a cool piece to just find in the garage, congrats Brian.
Nice when you ID something that's been around for a while.

the lever on the shroud side of the engine moves up to release and down to lock in, which mine does fine, but when you go to lock it in there is a piece of sheet metal that bends down and when you lock it i think when you slide something in, it moves it back and locks it in but mine you cant get it to catch and lock in the attachment and the little round weight i had to take off was a so and so to get out, if i can figure that out the there are slots on both sides of the bracket that slides in the handi, and it looks like a bolt or something should go in it to keep it from the attachment from moving up and down unwantedly....
