Hello from Tennessee, guys. I'm new to the forums and I guess this will be my introduction. I figured somebody might like these old school garden tractors, I don't know the year exactly but it runs great. It does need a little TLC (brake adjustment, linkages, 2" slop in steering, small leak somewhere around the trans, park brake lever wedges and keeps hydrostatic trans disengaged etc...) but I'm hoping all of that is trivial because I'm by no means a lawn & garden mechanic. It does mow and as long as I don't get carried away with the brake pedal does great. Anyhow! Let me know what you all think and any tips/pointers would be appreciated! God bless...

Awesome 12H! Very nice example of a survivor.

:welcometogttalk:

As for repairs, there is a service manual available in our manuals area. It's a big help.

You might also want to change the hydro filter. They are available thru the new holland dealers.
I believe the part number is JAC 545440

Good stuff, that's a nice one, as for the brake pedal you don't even really need it, the Hydro does a good job of controlling speed and direction.
