Portland, IN swap May 14 wed to Sat and looks like a rainy one this year! Darn! That sometimes keeps people away. Wed looking like best day, Sat might let up or no rain, but most are gone by then. Hope to get the tarp up Wed with no issues and should be good for us then.  60's for temps shown, so will be cool.  Wear rain coat, or umbrella and BOOTS for sure. Deep grass and wet in area. Seeya there?  Rain or shine for Me!

GL, it just wouldn't be right if it didn't rain. Why do you think they call it a SWAMP meet??   :bigrofl:

Wouldn't be the first time I've had to be pulled in or out of that place!!

I have waded the mud there before, not fun. But it is still a good swamp meet and a good time. I will have my rain coat and boots.

Heading that way myself, debating as to go look or sell this year.  We cleaned out a barn last year and took anything rusty down there and came home almost 1500.00 richer.  Not bad for 2 days selling.

took a day off work Thursday....

I'm sure there's gonna be some rusty stuff there I'll want to drag home!

After all, swap meets are not about what you need    ,   they're about what you want  !  :D

Well we made it there and back the last 2 days,  umbrella out the whole day Wend,  Thursday just a mist off and on, but had sweatshirts and wind breaker on for the cold.  Here is a few photos of the conditions of the drive paths. But as they say it would not be right without the mud.  Still had a blast.

redcarkids that described it well.

We were there Wed and Thur until we had enough wet and cold. Still had a good time.
