1050 Tail Light Wire

This is kind of a dumb question, but how does the routing for the wire to the tail light go? I am trying to replace the wire and can't find a neat place to run it. I thought I would run the wire down under the floor board but getting it from the transmission to the tail light is hard to do neatly so the wire isn't in the way of anything. Any ideas?

The 1 ground wire gets mounted to one of the rear transmission plate screws, the other going to the switch should follow the left tube and go under the transmission case as shown in the picture:

 

This may not be the exact path but the ones I have seen that were "Original" went close to this

Thanks a lot for the picture! That's how I would do mine too, but I wanted to see what others had since it doesn't look super neat when I route it that way, especially coming up under the rear cowl. I will try to get a picture up of it when I have time.
