Bill, that is my biggest concern, I've got to call the banks and get them up to speed on the check books. Hopefully Dad has been making copy's of all the files because he's misplaced a few in the last couple years.

Better check on that the best you can.The place I work was hit just this past year somebody started makeing up checks and buying like crazy, they would buy something and then send a check for it then they would call and cancell the order hopeing the people would send them one of there checks because they would all ready have the bogus check headed for there bank.

Took about 6 months to get it all stopped

                                             Good luck

Sorry to hear that Brian.

We will use this as a public notice: the stinkin' low life who took the truck will get no mercy from GTTalk if we ever find out who they were and where they hail from.

I suspect my Gravely would do a great Marvin Heemeyer imitation on their personal property.

Sorry to hear that Brian. It sucks big time. I hope you can get things secured on the business side before those low lifes can do any damage.

Doesn't seem that would be a hot truck to steal.

The 1999 to 2011 Super Duty Fords with Crew Cabs Are the hottest stolen trucks in TX. Most of time they take them and tear out the back seat, drive them across the border and load them up with Illegal Aliens to bring back to the US. They stack um like cord wood from what I've been told, usually getting 12 to 16 guys in the cab.

Around here they steal the trucks and vans to do a smash and grab.  I would think that the border guard would look inside, especially since this is a known way for them to bring illegals across the boarder.

That's what I can't figure out is how they get thru the Border Check Stations? They always look in my trucks and Suburbans when I used to go across.

Sorry to hear of your problems Brian. I think Jim and Daniel are on the right track with the towing. Quick easy way to get a vehicle and anybody that sees will just think it is a breakdown. Are there any security cameras in the parking lot  or street ?  I know you are working on the biggest problem, the important things inside the truck. Be thankful it wasn't a carjacking and your Dad wasn't hurt. Good luck.

George, That is the MOST important thing, he wasn't involved in it.
