Well, finally got the Allis B-10 with hydraulics home.  Technically it is a Simplicity Squire 10, but both are the same barring minor cosmetic differences (grill, etc.)  Though it was missing the engine, what I really wanted was the hydraulics, which seems to be all intact.  Will transplant the unit into a B-10 that I need to do some mechanical fixes to anyway, so tearing it apart to put the unit in it won't be for not.  Will try to get pics up...if I can get the camera away from the wife (maybe I should just get my own.  Will also keep you all informed of the progress.

Wow, a Squire with factory hydroliftis a rare find!  I've only seen or heard tell of one other Squire 10 with the option.  I know of no Squire 9's with it (factory instaled, that is).  Is yours a squre tank bronze variety?

It had been painted in 'allis' orange some time ago, but underneath was bronze.  had the simplicity grill, but a b-10 allis hood (unless the simplicity's had the rounded type as well).  Previous owner/owners did alot of 'quick' fixes over the years.  Welded parts on frame.  different sized and length bolts galore.the lift rod going from the front to the back had been broke and then a narrow piece of angle iron welded to it.  Gas tank has finger sized holes in ti unfortunately.

What do you mean by 'square tank'?

The earlier machines had a different shaped tank...looked like this, and is less commonly found.
