Briley, my oldest Daughter started the week out Tuesday by successfully passing the Written test (98%) to get her Drivers License Learners Permit. Her Mom and I have had her driving for over 2 years on the back country roads around home and even out on a 2 lane highway from time to time, we believe that you need to get them going as soon as you can to make them more prepared for driving a vehicle.

On Thursday she competed against 3 Seniors and 3 other juniors for one of the 3 Marching Band Drum Major positions. Friday she was informed that she had finished 2nd and would be one of the  Drum Majors to lead Our marching band at all the football games this fall and also all the competitions the band does every year.

And today was Our Texas 4H District Round Up competition and to go to State Round Up, Briley had to finish 1st or 2nd in her Senior division Band/Solo. She took 1st place with her original song she wrote, played and sang. She was able to beat the 2 kids that beat her last year.

I am SO Proud of Briley and Bailey both for their accomplishments

Bailey also competed today and placed 4th in the Intermediate Instrumental. Being an Intermediate Bailey can not advance to State as the 4H only takes Senior kids to state. Bailey did very well playing the piano against a couple kids that would have made Ludwig van Beethoven look to see who was performing.

What a BLESSED Week My Family has had.

Sounds like a good week, though, Brian!  You have a right to be proud of your girls for those accomplishments.
