Hello all! I have just gotten into garden tractors this year . Started with a 1966 Jd 110. Loved it so I went and bought a Jd 314 but it does not have a manual. The mounts at the front and rear of the motor are broken and I can't find the part numbers to get replacements. It looks like the front and rear mounts are different . But I don't want to take then off the tractor till I have new ones. Any input would be great !
Thanks!!!

McMaster Carr carries replacements, the product # is 6008K33. I don't know if those are the front or the rears. The rears are the same as the fender pan mounts. They are available from JD, but they cost 5x's more than from McMaster Carr. You will have to cut/grind off two mounting ears, JD only uses two.

I suggest removing them and matching them up from McMaster Carr. The mower being laid up for a week is well worth the money saved.

The front mounts are hard to find. The rear ones are a standard diamond plate mount. Make sure you get ones that are stiff enough to carry the weight. The front ones are thicker and very hard to find a second source for.
