this showed up on the yahoo group hope it's ok to post it here i never like seeing the phrase "if nobody buys it going to salvage"  sounds like a good deal wish it was closer

"Hello everyone,

I will try this one more time. I have FOR SALE a Jake 1450 Super Chief Hydro and tiller. Both are late 70"s models. Would make for a good restore project or parts machine.
I either get it sold or it is going to salvage yard. Health issues have arisen and am downsizing. Am located in Oklahoma, zip code 74332.  Hope to hear from someone, Asking
$95.00 for both units.

Dave"

Too bad it's too far away or I would be on that like a bunch of fleas on a hound dog.

Well, this tractor is sitting in my yard. Brian and I are deciding who gets it. It's been sitting out for some time and has issues. Here's some pics.

First is this binder with copies of manuals:

Here's the tiller. It's missing some of the hitch parts and the clutch mechanism:

Here's the tractor. It's a model 53260 serial 5742:

Seat pan needs some work:

Well it runs and pulls itself around! Needs lots more tinkering but could be a decent tractor yet!
