my son picked up another cub last night thinking it was another 1250, but I don't think it is. it has hyd. lift which you hardly ever see on the 1250 and it has a decal on the motor sheet metal saying it is a k341aqs which would make it a 16. the serial number is 2050066u549228. I am sure that is correct. that would make it a 1975 model year but the code(0066) doesn't match up with anything I can find. what do we have???

Actually its an educated guess , first clue is K-341 engine and secondly was that it had hydrolift which wasn't standard on a 1250 but was on the 1450 and 1650 .

Also the code # 0066 isn't in my book either but 0065  = 1450 and 0067 = 1650 .

The kind code varied some according to model changes during production , such as dual hydro or possible implements that came on that model  .

Also the QL series changed from  3/4 " front spindles to 1" late in the model run and shortly before production of the 82 series also started using the 82 series style steering wheel .
