I've seen brushes for sale on ebay. I picked mine up at a shop that rebuilds starters and alternators. While I was there had the commentator turned also, cost was under $50.

You should have a place up there that does electric motors and such.

Welcome to GTTalk Karlos. Good to see another Canadian  joining us. You might try calling any local electric motor/alternator shops to see if they can fix you up.

So they say my generator is fine from the shop but when i put my meter from A to ground i get no reading still? On my allis i get 11.5 volts. It doesnt charge the battery either no gain even on high idle. I took apart my voltage regulator and all the points are clean and shows no sign of a short. Any help is needed guys im at a loss.
