I've been using yahoo email since I got on the net many moons ago.  It's always been very easy to use, you can check it anywhere, etc., etc.  Lately, yahoo has undergone some changes.  This is nothing new but I gotta say, it's terrible.  Very difficult to navigate the way it saves your conversations.  I'm just not feeling the yahoo love anymore.  Their groups format really stinks now too.  I never really cared for Google but gmail is an option.  I would use outlook but I wouldn't be able to check my email unless outlook was available.  What's everyone else using and what the general consensus about what to use?

I have used Yahoo, Hotmail and gmail. I agree with you that Yahoo is hard to use now but I still like it better than Gmail and Hotmail.

I keep webmail accounts because I have moved 6 times in 10 years and have used 5 different ISPs in 3 states.  I have a yahoo account for personal and gmail for business stuff.  Both have pros and cons to their layout.  Either of them can be set up to download emails and save them locally in outlook or Mail on a Mac.

I have Yahoo and gmail as well.  .  I have been with yahoo for many, many moons (some time in the mid 90's)  I agree Yahoo has become more difficult to deal with and I think has taken a turn for the worse.  I use the Yahoo account for all my web based functions and my gmail for more personal.  Right now I like gmail more then I do Yahoo and like Travis said they both have their pros and cons.  I have never used hotmail because the less I have to deal with Microsoft the better.

Thanks guys, and Shawn, I should have seen that one coming!  Looks like there really isn't much choice out there.  Ah well, in a few months yahoo will go through another change and, who knows, maybe it will be better. I won't hold my breath though.

Makes me think of Windows 8!

I use Yahoo mainly because it sucks less than the others. I have an Outlook account, through Comcast, a Gmail, a iCloud,  and a Hotmail account. They're all ok but I'm use to the Yahoo even with all the "improvements".

Have you updated your browser lately? If you are not using the latest browsers I find Yahoo can give you some issues. It seems to be a bit better now than it was a few months ago when they made the major changes. It was a real mess for me right after the big changes.

LOL! Sounds like a company motto that an old boss of mine came up with.  "Our customers hate us less".

You know, the updates are something that I am terrible with.  Even when I do try to update, sometimes it won't let me.  I'll have to look into that once I get some time.  Thanks for the tip.
