There is a Nortrac diesel with a "bad" bearing for $1000. How easy are these to get engine parts?

If he will deliver for a reasonable price, it may be a good deal. Good Luck, Rick

Rick, the way I read it is that the mower has a bad bearing, not the tractor. For a Thousand bucks I don't see how you could go wrong. The mower has to be worth most of that.

When it seems to good to be true, it probably is. I read it the same way you did but, I figured that a comma is missing. I don't know anything about those Chinese diesels and am very cautious about them. I shouldn't get any more anyway. Thanks Brian. Good Luck, Rick

Now I'm not 100% sure about this. But I'm thinking I read that those were Kioti Tractors? I do know I looked at one when Northern Tool was selling them and had one on the showroom floor in Des Moines and thought they looked like a pretty good machine. There is a Kioti Dealer in Des Moines,They seemed like a lot of tractor for the money, and I think the Bobcat Tractors are rebadged Kioti so they might not be hard to find parts for.

No Way Kioti!! These are crude casted, probly no strength in metals even when new. Tin work was real bad fitting, they finally cleaned them up last few years. These are made by Jinma tractor in China. I looked at t hem when they were selling for $2995 or even less in 20hp size. They were Farm-trac then in his brand. That place took them half apart and re-painted the tin and put better gauges in them to resell. At the time, they had no parts available and started to tear down the ones in crates just for parts. I see them for sale around here all the time. Look newer, yet problems that they can't fix.
I found on web a place that deals with Chinese tractors, has forum and parts sources. Can't recall address and have no link now. They also dealt with Gray Market chinese and Jap and Korean. Might google and find some info. They had Jinma info on those sites.
