sent from my telecomunication device, from the seat of my imaginary tractor, working my imaginary feilds.

I'm from the Elizabeth City, NC area and have a lot of friends and family there, they had a good bit of damage from Friday's system but so far nobody I know was hurt. A friend did get some good tornado video, if there is such a thing.

We are on the cold side of the storm system here in Wisconsin--low 40s and rain.
Hope every one is safe.

Yeah hoping everyone is alright. Other than enough rain it will probably be 2 weeks before I can get in the
garden. we are fine here. The bad stuff went south east of me. Oskaloosa is about 50 miles and there was a lot of damage there and south and east of there. Lauber is down in that area and am wondering about how he made out.

I just got off of the phone with an ex girlfriend whose father lives in our old home town. Both of us have moved off after we got married and she is 2 1/2 hours away from her dad.  ANYWAY, he called her and told her that he had a tree on the double wide, a tree totaled his truck and there are trees down everywhere around the trailer and he has no way to get out of the trailer.............and on top of all that,,,,,he is wheel chair bound.  She is in route right now to see what she can do to get him out of the trailer and my youngest brother is going to meet her to run a chainsaw.

We had a tornado come through south of us around 6 last night and there are a few trees down around Atlanta but other then a lot of rain and some lighting on other issues.  We get to go through this all over again tonight, although there are some pretty good storms down around the panhandle and when that happens they tend to rob us of any of the energy so I'm hoping that continues to be the case tonight.

Well the storms down in Lower Alabama and the panhandle did take the energy out of any big storms up this way,  I do however feel bad for those who had to deal with the flooding that all that rain caused.  I can't imagine 2 FT in such a short time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered and continue to have to deal with this storm system.
