As we left a 4H exchange meeting this evening, we headed east towards the house and saw this Mushroom cloud off in the Eastern sky. It looks like a H-Bomb cloud over Houston. Just thought I would share.

No, but it did give me a very strange feeling. I have been reading a lot of Tom Clancy novels lately and just finished "The Sum of all Fears"  Great book by the way!!

It's either a mushroom cloud or the Starship Enterprise coming in for landing!

Nice pictures,

thanks for sharing

Sure is nice looking country there Brian. The sun must have been going down right behind the formation. The timing was just right!

Um, JD, Texas doesn't use the metric system.

The sun still sets in the west down there.

Yes, neat pictures. In the thumbnails, it sure does look like a mushroom. I checked

google earth. Houston is still there.

I grew up with a very real fear of nuclear war in the 50's-60's, that would have shaken me good.

This was off to the East and the was setting to the west. I think that's what made it like it did.

Given what has been going on in other states that is not good news and something to keep an eye on.
