Robert, I will not be there as I'm having surgery on the Wednesday the 5th and won't be able to drive that far, I sure wanted to be there, maybe I can make it next year if you have one again.

Every show and plow day I planned on going to this year has had something happen to cause me not to go to them. Next year has to be a better year I PRAY..

OK GUYS AND GALS...........

Here are the motels in Richland Ga (about 15 miles from the plow field. You have to bear in mind that this is a town with a population of MAYBE 500 people.......most of those being in the farming industry.

Kay-Lyn Court   229-887-3345
Double 45.00  Single  35.00.  This is an OLD motel that a lot of the hunters use during hunting season.  I cant tell you what the rooms are like because I have never stayed there.

Super Value Inn      229-887-2500
50.00 a night single or double
This one is probably 15-20 years old but is a more modern looking motel.

When I spoke to Willie a few minutes ago, he was still undecided about which field that he was going to put us in, but he did say that he had SEVERAL.  I am planning to go down Thursday night at my aunts house so if anyone needs to call me you can...205-612-0839. As soon as he nails down which field we are going to be plowing I will let everyone know. Just so that you can make your travel plans, you can either plot your course to RICHLAND, GA or PRESTON GA..........they are only about 10-15 mils apart....lol   If you have any questions, please feel free to call me anytime between now and then.

Robert, what in the world has happened to cause the cancellation? I hope it's the weather and not because of all of us not being able to make it.

Ok guys and gals, I talked to Daniel a week or so ago and he asked me to make a post here but I have been so busy with life that I havent had time.  SO..........i figured while I was sitting here at work doing NOTHING I would come harass you guys.

The week before my plow day was supposed to take place, I had some MAJOR ISSUES come up at home that I had to deal with in a SWIFT and EFFECTIVE manner and there was no way to do that and make the plow day happen so I had to cancel it.  IT SUCKS but that is life sometimes.

As of right now, i am tending to 21 Rhode Island Red Chickens (about 2 months old and living in my garage...lol) 5 goats, 4 pigs that are about 3-4 months old, 5 horses.........all with the help of my beloved girlfriend Dana.  Actually she does most of the feeding because all of the animals are at her place except for the RIR's.  She has 6-8 chickens at her place right now also.(ONE of the horses belongs to my kids, a Christmas present that they dont know about yet. Three of the goats and the pigs are mine but since we are working on starting our own little farm, we call the all OURS)  I have been trying to get part of the property fenced to turn the pigs and goats loose in.  It is wooded and they would have a BLAST once I turn them loose. But as with everything else in life, things get in the way.  There is a Red Oak tree growing on the part that I am fencing and it got struck by lighting at some point in the last 4-5 years and one of the "limbs" fell off and landed in the fence line.  Well so far, I have cut up, split and hauled off 5, YES FIVE truckloads and still have at least one truckload still laying there possibly two.  I do have to sides of the fence and the gate up so I am making some progress albeit SLOW.
