So do you think I should leave the retaining rings on or run it without them?

 

I'll send ya a list of parts I need later, hopefully you got some more bearings, I killed them all , what a dumb ass!!!!!!,!

 

I would put the clip on still so you have proper clearance.

The ones I posted pics of have no groove but I kept the rings on anyway. The bearing housing I took a pic of has been in service for around 3+ years now with no problems so far....

 

Yes, With the height of the mowing season I have alot of bearings instock! :D

Thanks guys, it was mowing great. Loved cutting grass with it.
