What I wish had been kept was a couple of home built " crystal " radio sets to listen to the radio .

Disappeared somewhere along the way .

I made one with a razor blade. I wonder if it would pick up a "digital" signal now.

This will shock ya'll  Iron Butterfly  Inna-gadda-da-vita    Great album

Nothing wrong with Iron Butterfly that a stint in rehab wouldn't have cured! :D  I liked their stuff.

My first as i recall was Little Deuce Coupe.  I was a Beach Boys fan, then I moved on to Beatles, but really got into Clapton, Hendrix, Robin Trower, then Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Segar, Marshal Tucker, Ac/DC, Boston, etc...

About a month ago , I had taken a  " day off " and was watching a  U -tube version of Riders On The Storm by  Tha Doors . This was approx. 4 pm .  And then , and then ,  - I got a call to travel 100 miles thru a blizzard and nightfall .  Bless ole Jim and Elvis .

They and the Jagger keep drives from being boring .
