A friend (who is also a customer) called me up and asked if I could come over and help him with some power equipment  he is thinking of selling.  He had a tiller, Edger, chainsaw, power washer and a JD backpack blower.  He wanted to see if they would fire up since all to them had been sitting for some time, he is elderly and has a hard time doing things these days.  Anyway I went over and we got all of them fired up and running quite well except the tiller.  It was surging and I think the Carb needs to come off and be cleaned out.  So we were talking and I asked him what he wanted for the blower and he $75.  I said let me think about it a bit.  So as we were finishing up he asked me what he owed me and I told him nothing and he insisted, so you know how that goes, so he offers me the blower and I told him no that was to much so we went back and forth for a bit and finally came to the agreement of I pay him $20 and we call it even.

I didn't know JD made a backpack blower so I was surprised when I saw it.  it also came with the original owner manual which did surprise me.  Roger always keeps his thing in good shape and has all the manuals for his equipment.  This will make chores around here a lot easier.

Nice Bill! That will be a handy beasty to have around. I think you could even clear a light snow fall off your deck or walkway with one of those.

I'm glad that you are helping a senior and that he appreciates it. I've lost most of my old friends. Now the few times I've helped people they act demanding and ungrateful. I've just given up on most. I still try to do my good turn daily and for Earth Day Ricky and I cleared the parking area of our local preserve. Good Luck, Rick
