Chief, Dottie & I took a day off today, to our "quiet spot":

This is where I host the "garden Tractor Trail Ride" each September:

Dottie likes the pond:

Not much noise out there, once in a while a truck on the blacktop a mile north of us.  Then once in a while the C130's fro St Joe going over!

Caught enough Largemouth Bass for a meal in a day or two.  Smoked sausage & fried potatoes w/onions cooked over open coals for dinner today!     ~~  Lowell

That is a great spot to forget about the everyday rat race.

Glad you have a hide-a-way spot, and thanks for the photos.

I agree, Rick.  I could use a spot like that.

Looks like the pond could use a bit more water in it!

We're still in a drought here, badly needing rain.  This pond is 2' low, the other one is 4' or more low.  ~~  Lowell

Thanks for sharing some of your solitude with us, looks like a very nice place to reset.

We are over 5" behind for the year! We need a good drenching rain to fill ponds & lakes!
