Well, I guess I've joined the Hog club.

Ever since I picked up George's HD-12, three+ years ago and stored it until he

could come pick it up, I've been looking for a Hog for myself.

A couple weeks ago, I found one close to home. I haven't had time to go

over it yet, with a fine tooth comb. That's tomorrows project.

I'm sure I'll have a bunch of questions.

Will, it sure looks clean, is that original paint? Is it missing the lift arm on the other side of the dash tower?

Welcome to the club, now you for sure have to make it to the Bush Hod Gathering/ Plow Day !!

Thanks. Item 1 on the shopping list. The PO couldn't find them.

We may even get a ride video tomorrow, if all goes well.

No Brian, it's been painted. Lift arm is item #2 on the shopping list. Tail light is item #3.

I'm sure there'll be more.

Well, at least it's red!

Nice looking tractor Will. Has it been restored in the past? It looks like a lot of new bolts on it.

Bout time Will!  Back when George's Hog was there & you had all those Massey Hog babies.....did they all get away?  I figured you would have raised a few of those up.

On the tail light....was it a round or teardrop style? Some had small round plastic tail lights that would have tightly spaced mounting holes, while the teardrop KD 540 light would have 3 holes, outer ones spaced at least 2 1/2" apart.

Looks like it had the KD 540 teardrop light. You can even see the faint discolouration in the paint.

Did I see in one of your threads, that you just got one of those somewhere?

About those Massey Hog babies, they never did take. Never grew any more. They're

living in a cardboard box , up on a beam in Massey Hall. Maybe they weren't allowed

to nurse long enough, before George broke up the happy family.

Good Stuff.

Thanks Doug. You can drive it this weekend if you want. Had it going today.

I had to replace the fuel shut off valve, and fuel line. Also had some real

stinky gas to dump. Once it fired it need full choke to run, but after about

10 minutes, it cleared a lot. I think I'll get it a carb kit, and rebuild it.

It's nice and smooth to drive, but it takes some getting use to the shifter

pattern. It must be missing the shifter plate, part #S3321.

I did take a bit of a video. I'll post that later.

Some more pics.
