Hello, just bought my first tractor. It's an 87 Bolens H1704 with a Deutz-Allis finishing mower. It is super clean with squat for hours, 387 total. It looks so new I had a hard time believing it wasn't a restore. I am enjoying very much around our farm. ID like to get a snow caster for it, does anyone out there know what I model blower it requires?

Welcome to GTT. Check our Manuals Section for info. The big Zagray Farm Show is in 2 weeks and is only a few miles from you on RT85. That will be a good chance to find what you want. Post some pics. Good Luck, Rick

Does your tractor have the front pto kit and the front lift kit already? How about the auxiliary hydraulic kit?

Your tractor can use the two stage #1948, the two stage Berco 17451, and the single stage 1330.

Cat385B I do not know, but it does have a front and rear PTO. Could you explain what the aux hydraulic kit is?

Hello, just bought my first tractor. ...

From the looks of the first pic, I think it may have been more accurate for you to have said "I just bought my WIFE'S first tractor".  :rolling:

That is one sweet looking Iseki/Bolens you have there.

Great tractor, I love those tractors in that size range, kinda of a super garden tractor sub compact features.

The hydraulic kit gives you two spools of hydraulics. On the front of your pto kit on the front of the tractor, there are tabs sticking out farther than the sheet metal box. That is the upper attachment point for the hydraulic cylinder. The front lift kit is a metal frame that attaches to the front of the frame, below the radiator. The lift kit stretches out front of the tractor about two feet.

The control levers and valve would be mounted on the right fender.

Sorry about the poor pics, I'm not at home and am stuck with what's on the IPod.

Yeah, my wife's tractor! Haha! She can operate a lot of equipment as her family has been in the dairy business all her life! It does not look like I have a hydraulic kit for the front. Can I get one for this model? I want to toss snow with it this year! The Zagray show, yes I know what you're talking about now. I gotta check that out!

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the great looking Bolens. You don't see many looking that good.
