I know this is off topic but I want to share with my friends.

Time to paint a picture. A picture of a human being who had my back. One who saw the good in me when there was none. One who decided I was worth everything to Him. One who could show more love in a split second than others could show in a lifetime. He took me from an enemy of God to God's own heir. I know I could never repay Him but He never asked me to. He just wants my love. He got it and I'm the one who's being Blessed. God has Blessed those who love and trust Him with His Son. His Son is still alive and His love for us is eternal.

Not off topic at all Reg. What an awesome thing to read for the first thing this morning. That unconditional love, joy & peace that only God can give is what keeps us going. Yes he is alive....Amen.

He is risen! Can you imagine the look on those two Roman soldiers' faces when they saw the stone rolled away?!

Eat your candy, but remember Easter for what it is. Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday; now He offers to you the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins. This is the true story of Easter, and how it can change your life.

He has risen indeed!

We celebrate the resurrection through living through Christ's power daily, but Easter is still a great reminder of what He did.  When you finally understand what that pivotal moment of the resurrection means, it really changes your life.

We didn't do anything to deserve it.

We couldn't do anything without it.

We won't understand our purpose without it.

What's better is that Jesus didn't have to die.  He is God.   But He did.  For those He loves.

How can we be thankful enough?

He has risen indeed!

Thank you, the true meaning behind Easter can get easily lost with all the bunnies and candy and baskets...
BTW, I am moving this to the main forums so more people see it.
