That is neat, Will.  I have never heard of such thing... what a neat idea indeed!

 

Here's a video reviewing a new one.  I had to go look up what the thing was all about!!

You will see them at various shows. For one reason or another they never 'caught on' here in the States.

 

They seem to be more popular in Europe and the UK.

I worked with a guy who could flap his arms like they were wings . Alan just works in an environment that gets stirred up at times .  :wave:

We have OSHA  :deadhorse:

When FlyMo's were outlawed here in the states because of the toe amputations and other foot injuries, the manufacturer kept selling them by only offering "replacement parts". Of course ALL parts were available and golf courses were buying them basically in kit form and assembling them onsite.  Then someone had the idea to use industrial grade weed eater style string instead of a steel blade so they could openly be sold again.
