He is off the vent but they can not give him ANY pain killers. He is unresponsive and an extreme pain. I seen him 3 hours ago and he was just laying there squirming in pain.

Very unnerving. The doctors won't give an opinion on his prognosis. He is so weak. My mother in law is a nurse practitioner and she is very scared...

As gently as possible and with as much love as you have in your heart.

He is doing a bit better today. Still not out of the woods but he has improved slightly.. He may have the start of pneumonia. Which is really bad...m

Little update but a good one.  My wife called me this morning and said he was up walking this morning, used the bathroom(which he hasn't done in several days) and ate a popsicle(first food in several days).  So He is definitely heading in the right direction!  They are hoping he may even be home by this weekend.

 

Thank you guys for your prayers and support.  My wife and family wanted to thank you guys as well.  They appreciate it.
