I can't wait for green season.  Yesterday I put the bagger on my GT600 and *mowed* the yard.  PPl going down the road must have thought I was nuts... LOL.  I was having to go around piles of snow.  Actually, I was just cleaning up the dropped leaves and stuff from late fall/winter.  Still, I bet I had a smile ear to ear.... man it's been a long winter.  COME ON GREEN!!!!

Ha! Have to check back in late fall and find out how many are SICK of mowing and wanting winter to come and cover it all up! Always Fun at first, but later becomes another chore that takes too long to complete and move to other chores or FUN stuff!

As fun as the first mowing is, I dont like to do it too quick. I always get so tired of it til summertime. My neighbors are all mowing and it is starting to give me the itch to start also.

I got my first call yesterday, "can you come mow my yard, I don't think we are going to be able to get to it this week". Elderly couple down the street with around an acre to cut. I don't charge them, I just take what they want to pay, if and when they want to pay it. Her husband has alzheimer's so they are limited on activities, she has to watch him kind of close. Good folks, the kind you want as neighbors. Seeing as how I had the mower out I started on mine, first cut of the year.

Even though the snow has barely left us here I see some green starting to appear. No mowing for me though. I don't have a lawn!

I've mowed twice and with this weeks cold weather, might not have to mow for a couple of extra days. Got out my double gang disc and hit some small clay spots that I'm still fighting to grow grass, not very big but annoying. I disc'd them then seeded and packed. We'll see.

Yeah, I'm needing to mow my neighbors (really good friend) yard too, she has 3 acres, probably 2 1/2 acres of lawn.

She is in her late 60's and wont use a riding mower, we've been mowing her lawn for 6 years now, she tries to pay but we refuse to take it. I really like mowing her lawn because it's so nice!.

We use her Poulan Pro 42" mower, and I use our Kubota L2000 with 60" finish mower. When I get my Bolens HT23 running, I would like to slow down on using her mower, it's getting high hours and it's a matter of time before something happens.
