Here are some current pics. All I did today was work on the new hood, it's pretty close, but I'm not sure how happy I am with it... I may try tweaking it some more.

I wouldn't get to worried about making the hood perfect. I'm sure there were some from new that weren't as nice as others.

Looks good so far!

The place I work has a nice sheet metal shop with a shear, a big brake and roll bender.  The roll bender was a new experience for me. :D

Not a whole lot of photo-worthy progress lately. I've been removing paint, and did get a bunch of pieces primed last night.

Thanks to Bolens1000 for finding a new muffler for me! It looks much nicer than what was on there, and hopefully works a little better too.

I love the hood work, nice job. Those guys know how to bend some metal. Your tractor will be beautiful when it is done.

Small update tonight.

I haven't had too much time to spend on her lately. Over the weekend, I (FINALLY!) finished paint removal. I'm so glad that's done. I spent a ton of time with a wire cup on a 4.5" grinder and a blast cabinet. I also repaired the rear hitch/lift.

Tonight I got everything primed, except the new hood. I need to do some final fitting, and weld in nuts for the bolts to hold it to the tank. Hopefully I'll have some time to shoot color next week. Once I get the color on, it shouldn't take too much longer to finish.

I was hoping to be done before next weekend, but that isn't going to happen. Next weekend is my Grandfather's (who gave me the tractor when I was a kid) 90th birthday party. I had hoped to be able to give him some completed photos, but he'll have to wait! He'll have to settle for some "in-progress" photos.

Bob
