I wouldn't pay $400 for it, but I've certainly seen worse. If it runs its not all that bad IMO. The waffle tread rear tires are desirable. I think if someone got it for $300 or less it would be a nice little rig to tinker with.

Yeah, I knew it was the wrong color green.

Who knows, maybe some JD fanatic wanted a quality tractor for a change  :poke:

Can pretty much tell that the owner isn't a bolens enthusiast I could see $300 for it but I got that last 60 for $400 an it has the rare brake setup an three attachments plus runs really well an looks nice an original. Mine was missing the guard but I have three in a box

I paid 80 for mine and already put alot into it. Mine has the belt guard and came with a mower deck, snowblower which I sold, and a front blade.

Yeah, but look at it thru a different lens - for someone new to the hobby that is looking for a cool looking GT to mess with, that is not a total rot box - or a young teenage kid in the same scenario - just starting out, this would be a pretty good foundation if you could grab it for $300-ish. Everyone has had the "$75 deal" but that's not always the case. And the belt guards are not that big of a deal to re-create. Its nothing that cant look mint with some sheetmetal, a welder and patience. You'd be suprised what a little Simple Green and water could do to that thing.
