If you did all that this morning it's time to give yourself and the 790 a break.

That JD is just getting warmed up after that workout!  It looks like you had a productive morning Lowell!

For those who want to know, the digger is a 1956 "Continental", Grampa bought the digger & Dad bought the 400 series 3-pt for his 1953 JD 60.  Many of them were not 3-pt, but have mounting pipes that go under the tractor.  It's old, dull & worn, but does work & the price was right!  ~~  Lowell

Finished up at the farm about noon, used the old 5' JD brush cutter to shred the Buck brush & weeds on a couple spots first:

Then the 5' hmde 3-pt disk to scratch up the surface a little:

Can't work it very deep, too many stumps!  But it's good timber soil, so it doesn't need deep tillage.  Then sowed some clover & commercial deer blend with a hand held bag (spin) seeder.  Now, just need a little rain to set the seed in, some predicted over the next few days.  ~~  Lowell

Epic fail on sending the nice weather north, Lowell. We got 13" of snow and climbing. I'll just do yard work vicariously through you for now, thanks.

I think they've about given up on what we were supposed to get tomorrow, but still some predicted for Sunday!  ~~  Lowell
