I'm not convinced that it is from Nam. There was a buggy like that used by my neighbor when he flew the Hump. The only thing he mentioned about the war was a neat little three wheeled scooter with a motorcycle front that they used around the field. He was looking for one in the early 60s. There is no zip code on the manufacturer's address, so its before 1963. The kohler could be a replacement. Very interesting. Good Luck, Rick

 

 

The "hump" was flying from India into China over the Himalayas in WWII. The C47 Goonies crashed and were shot down in large numbers. The route became known as the aluminum highway because of all the plane carcases. Mr Parker was one of the lucky survivors. He didn't talk about the flying, one of the other dads that had been there told me how bad it was .

That's an odd looking thing. The engine takes up all the hauling capability.
