Welcome To GTT.  A little advice, take it slow and gradual as find out what to capabilities of the WH are.  If you don't break anything and put a little time into it you should be ok.  If you discover early on the WH isn't enough for what you want to do you can always sell it and look around for something that does meet your needs.

Reg

I would say that's a lawn tractor only because of the fact that is a vertical shaft enigne. (Just my opinion)

I would call that an lt as well.  vertical engine and no lug bolt's in the rear end.  Lt for sure.  Still a nice machine and worth $200 if all the stuff for the deck is still there.

Yup, he said he will get it up running and driving, he will see if the deck will work. So we agreed on a price of $180 everything fully functional. But he has to see about the deck...
Im sure this tractor is still beefier than most newer LT

180 sounds like a good price if everything is functional.

Well, he changed his mind. I guess he was doing research and found out its worth like 350, so I'm gonna pay 200 as thats what he was asking for it. Still not a bad deal for a fully working tractor.

I agree that it's an LT. Sounds like a good deal. Cheaper than you could buy a new engine for your Scotts. It is probably better quality than your Troy-Bilt.

You might look in the manuals section.

It looks to be in good shape. Doesn't seem to be any leaks (as far as I can see from your pictures).

So i painted my Deere today... Here are some pics
https://www.icloud.c...#A1J0DiRHGQeZQP
Also the pic of the clutch/brake pedal. I put the spring there to help engage the clutch and the drive belt.
I let my little bros drive it around the yard and they got a kick out of it! They thought it was the greatest thing in the world! Cant wait to get the Wheel Horse. My friend said he will have it ready by tomorrow. Hopefully i can get it tomorrow also :)

It sounds like your brothers had a good time with your JD! Please do post some pictures of your WH when you get it!
