I think this is a 1973 model, runs good, has new rear(front)tires. Everything works, no hyd leaks. I do have the belt cover, it's just not on. Fenders/hyd cover is off of a different wheel horse. Has tail; dragger adapter. May trade for a Farmall or other tractor of equal value.

That was commercially made.

Here's an outfit that makes basically the same thing using Deere tractors.

The "Air Horse" tractors were factory built and as you can probably guess pretty rare. This one looks rough and I think he is fairly optimistic on price.

How is something like that used?  Does the load attach at the back somehow?

if  you read the story on these guys, they didn't become a business until 1968 and later in 96 sold the business to the kids, who built the air horse machine. I think its a mock up of what could have been, instead a factory built one. The shape its in is going to be hard to get $4000 out of.

I see the one in the picture is based on the large JD X4x5/X700 series tractor. They just look so weird without front wheels. Not much good as a GT without all the front end parts.

I think it would get the double-takes at GT shows.

Just build what looks like a dump trailer on the arms at the back to camoflauge them.

Steve, Welcome to the forum. Items posted in this forum are listings found on Craigslist, ebay, ect. I don't believe the original poster actually owned the item. He just posted what was in the ad.

I have some swamp land in FL available for sale if anyone is interested. Lol.

I highly doubt it sold for even close to that price. If it did, someones wife is about to commit murder and rightfully so...
