Thank you all for your kind words. It gives me comfort to know how well you knew him and appreciated his quiet kindness. I take strength from the things you have said and it helps me get through these miserable days alone. Life was always wonderful; it will be wonderful again, I know. Just right now things are pretty hard to take. One step at a time I guess.

Time has a way of making the hurt become less painful. One step at a time or one day at a time is a good way to deal with all this. You have a some wonderful memories with OldeDeere, some of which he shared with us, that will be with you always, so in a way he is still with you and us. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers that God will ease you pain and comfort you.

Bill is right, time does help. But it is very hard at first losing a partner. Even today, I still catch myself looking for Terry and she has been gone some time now. Visiting the memories of the good times helped get me through a lot. Having the forum and GT's kept me busy.

Your card came today--- I don't know how to thank you all, except to say that I truly appreciate  all the support you have extended to me. I will try and stay in contact with G.T.T. and chime in when I can.  Bless you all.

I'm truly sorry to hear this....oldeeeres was always a poster that I looked for...I have been too busy myself and not on much lately, but I wondered why I hadn't seen any thanks or posts so today I spent some time looking... and am just stunned. I am just very sorry at your loss.

I've been away from the board quite a bit for the last few weeks and can not believe I come back to find this! I am so sorry for your loss.

It is so shocking to read this.
