Can't say for the Ridemasters but all the Bolens I have the engines are all green, I mean everything. The ones with Briggs engines it looks like they covered the id plate somewhat and started spraying. The Wisconsin on my Gardener is done the same way.

Ridemasters were the same way the wisconsin part is painted over.

Doc, It's looking GREAT and it doesn't look like JD colors at all. Glad you stuck with it and got the paint right.

That is first class restoration. Your paint looks great. Is that the non-metallic? It looks very close to the original colors on my 2.5HP versa-matic. Yours is going to be fun to drive around.

Yes like Jerome said the engine would be entirely green an the Wisconsin engine tag is painted green over the part that says Wisconsin at the top. Every ridemaster that left the factory was like this although it's a shame they painted over the Wisconsin part I have carefully cleaned off the paint on two tags already to expose the lettering an color looks so much nicer when it's not painted over

That's interesting, Aaron

The engine tag on my unrestored Ridemaster has the top part painted over and I figured some previous owner did it for some reason.

Some teaser pics of the decals. There was a printing issue with the tank decals so should have new ones in a few days.

Will take pictures of the entire machine when all the decals are complete, These decals turned out great and are almost identical to the Bolens "Orange"

After making this set up, I got to thinking we should submit some info to be displayed when these decals are listed to the public as I have a funny feeling people not knowing the history of these machines will go nuts buying these kits and use the entire set even though the early ones did not have the stripe/Patent decal which would really make a mess of things!

Looks good! I think there was only a small block of ridemasters that had that strip down the tube frame like that honestly until Jerome pointed it out on one of his I hadn't ever seen it before I haven't ever seen it on any of the two speed models that I have ran across I guess will have to be researched as more tractors pop up

Do you have another with the stripe or just one?

Would be nice to get a couple to compare...
