Today I got another coat on the green parts and got in two coats on the rims and seat.

I really like these colors! The camera makes the wheels look lighter than they are for some reason.

Now need to put the engine back together and hopefully someone will help me getting pictures of decals so I can get a set made up! :worshippy1:

Looks like the standard bolens/John Deere green they painted these machines I would say it's the right color. I hate that it's so close to john Deere green but that's just my opinion

I agree its close

All the samples I have seen over the years lead me to believe that this is very close to what they used on their early equipment.

It sucks that it is close to JD green but I'm an OEM type of guy and follow what the Factory did for better or worse :D

For the Record I took some samples and put them next to a JD and the Bolens green is a bit darker.......

Glad that it's at least a bit darker I think I stated this in an different post but there was a regular equipment green that several manufactures used including John Deere I have a friend that spent several weeks on the bolens green color researching colors an going through old paint books from the time period everything pointed to John Deere green but keep in mind it's old john Deere green they changed the color in later years

That Ridemaster is looking really great.      It is going to be a beautiful tractor when you get it all back together.

I'm very impressed with all the time and effort that you put into researching the color and appreciate all the information and photos that you posted during the process.

More Progress!

Pressed in a new bearing on the drive pulley and added all new grease fittings.

So glad that the Transmission is on and that Gigantic implement spring is on, those were the hardest things to wrangle in place!

I do have her on 4 wheels now but wheeled it in the garage and forgot to take a picture.

Looking very nice!

Did you Blacken the tires or just clean them up good? They look almost like new.

Looking good!

You're putting me to shame. Looks like you may get this done before I finish my Rideamatic, and I started months ago...:D
