We'll be watching - hope you get it. Do you have a recipient tractor lined up yet? If it is a WheelHorse will your new creation be a KubeelHorse?

Made the deal on the donor tractor, its a kubota TSH1600. The engine is a 2cyl. 13.5 Hp.. Here is the specs. of the engine-
Engine Model:Z482
Head Bolt Torque:32
Tractor Model:T1600
Main Bearing Case Bolt 1 Torque:12
# of Cylinders:2
Main Bearing Case Bolt 2 Torque:23
Displacement (CC):479
Rod Bolt Torque:23
Displacement (Cu In):29.3
Flywheel Bolt Torque:44
Bore (MM):67
Rocker Arm Bolt Torque:8
Bore (In):2.6
Compression (PSI) Standard:450
Stroke (MM):68
Compression Lower Limit:325
Stroke (In):2.6
Engine HP (Net):13.5

Now all I have to do is decide which tractor to put it in, I have a few options-
1. 140 H-3 John Deere
2. C-series W.H.
3. Home made forklift- built from a 316 Jd. running backwards.

If I you a W.H., I will either have to cross mount engine or I could use a D-series setup for powertrain on a C-series frame.
I really think the easist repower would be the 140.

I would love yall's input, Brian

I think you should buy a machine that has a bad motor instead of taking one running out. A good canidate is the jd 400 or bolens large frame with the mechanical engagement pto

Mike,
I have several non running canidate tractors, I wish I did have a 400 series Jd. or a 400 series Case.
Thanks, Brian

On the WH, you could always use a 90 degree gearbox, like used in older Allis & Simplicity tractors.

Daniel, Here is a list, LOL
Wheel Horse- Bronco14, Raider12, 1277, 416-8Kolher, C-160, (D-200, at my folks place in In.)
Jd.- 3 140's, 2 120's, 4 112's, 2 110's, 316 series 2

Do you think this engine will out perfom a k321s 14hp. kohler, or maybe even a 16hp. Onan?

These are my parts machines, besides what I have listed as runners.

If I use a 90degree gearbox on a wheel horse, I won't be able to use the pto in the stock location.
