Yes, the Bolens nut is at it again with replacement choke and throttle controls and accessories! :D

I have just about all materials to make cables for all models, in stock and ready to go!

Tubeframe and Largeframe Models:

These are a universal "Cut to fit" , If need be just give me the exact measurements of your original assembly and I can custom cut them and put the Z bend in the cables.

T-Lock  102''  $18.95ea  Will fit all models of Tubeframe and Largeframe that used this style Locking knob.

T-Lock.JPG

T-Lock 41''    $16.99ea  For the shorter assemblies like the Tubeframe 1050 and similar. Has a protective plastic coating around the conduit. These are a direct fit to the wheel Horse tractors that used part# 102119

T-Lock WH.JPG

Choke 39''   $16.99ea   Fits Both Tubeframe & Largeframe's Cut to fit.

C-Cable.JPG

Throttle & Choke Control Heads:

Direct Fit for  Largeframe's

& potentially tubeframes, Eliminators,QS/QT series (up to you to decide if you can run your cable straight out on those models)

The cables and clips can be purchased as well to make a complete assembly, just PM me for more details.

$ 16.84ea (Specify either Choke or Throttle side)

Doc, can you also build cables that use the barrel or balls on the ends (like you see on bikes)?

Eliminator, Largeframe, Tubeframe, QT,QS, Dura-Trac & Troybilt

More coming soon!

These are for the assemblies pictured Below:

Cable.JPG

Many times the only thing that goes bad on these is the wire themselves, I can custom cut the cables to any length you need. With a special conduit button installed on the end all you have to do is take out your old wire and crimp this one into your existing assembly.

I currently have only some Eliminator and Tubeframe assemblies but hope to have all sizes soon.

Eliminator Choke and Throttle set. (5017H (1700) 5019H (1900) 5018H (1800)  5020H (2000)

$19.99 per set

Ends of the cables are left a bit long so you can set your desired wire travel and cut to fit your application, will need a Z bend on the end

Eliminator C&T.JPG

Bolens 800,900,1000 Choke and Throttle wires.

These will thread right into the plastic housing (You will have to put the Z bend on the one side due to the fact it cant be done without having the plastic housing here, would be more than happy to do it for you if you want to send your housing in)

$9.99 per set

Doc, do you have access to the nuts that hold the cables in the brackets? Not sure if Bolens used them but many engines did.

Yes, I have or can get just about all the accessories for the throttle cables.

Are you talking about the old school ones Briggs used? If so they can still be purchased from the factory.

I can get stuff for most brands not just Bolens if you need something.

I was thinking about the ones that Briggs used. It's been a while but i was told something about the new ones being plastic and not fitting the cables right? It was recommended by a small engine dealer to find something else so I never tried them.

I think the Genuine Briggs ones are still metal, if you have a number to go by I can check

Just ordered one in to see for myself and they are still metal.

Pretty pricey though at $ 5.95

In your travels, have you ever come across these cables/levers?

They where used in the Massey 8 Executives, and certain Moto Mowers. Possibly

other machines as well. The lever housing is plastic and snaps into the rectangular

hole in the dash.
