I've been dairy farming so long that you could take my handle away, but I'd still be an "olcowhand" till I die, so I'll keep the name for good.

I can see I'll have to stay on my toes with a bunch of name changing going on!  Thank goodness I managed to use my own name and a tractor that holds fond memories for me.

I think I will keep mine. It didnt take long to come up with it, its more about what I am than who I am. Been doing this stuff for a long time and wil keep doing it for a while. Besides,if I change now I will not know who I am.

After poking around in my profile I discovered we can change the name ourselves. Turns out the name JimD is already taken. Now I'm gonna have to give this more thought, which will give me a headache. big-headache-smiley-emoticon.gif

Yeah I figured that out when I tried to register a long time ago.  I had been on most forums as Jim-Iowa including metal Detecting forums.

Oddly enough I learned there was another Jim-Iowa on one of those. Was not able to used Jim-Iowa or Jim D when registering here.

So It's JD Dannels.( part of  my Name as Lauber points out) and I see no reason to change it.

This thread is scary.  Everyone changing names so bad that tomorrow I may not know who you are in the streets.

Is it catching?

I always find it interesting when someone changes there username,  I then to check to see if they are a new member so I can welcome them. So drbish welcome to GTtalk. :smilewink:

Yes you can change your username in your profile, but remember you can only change it once a year.

Kinda like Jim D's underwear!   :(  :loosing_it:

Good to see your old familiar name back Jim..  I'm always remembering that WHFan is you..  Now I'm really gonna be messed up!  :anvil_drop:

I'm the only dull one who has kept the same name because it's so easy to type!
