my neighbor has for sale his David Bradley one row category 0 planter in excellent shape, still has a good bit of the original paint on it with fertilizer bin in excellent shape too, it comes with 8 planting plates and he said he wouldnt part with the plates seperate, they go with the planter, model number is 597 400 serial number is 12538, if interested or have questions u can call between 8am and 7pm 812-967-4952

Its a sears 3pt not a true cat 0 - I have had 2 of these planters- the plates are like gold- selling for $10-30 or more a piece based on which ones they are and how good of shape they are. I still have one....with only 1 plate.- would sell it for $150....

 

The one listed has the fertilizer hopper but looks to be missing the cover for the seed box.......

Why is it that when these old seeders come up for sale they're almost always missing the seed box cover? Makes you wonder if they're worth something on the black market :smilewink:
