I have an Ariens Sierra 1640H lawn tractor with the grass catcher. I need the tube and upper boot but retail list prices are way too high, over $100 each. They are part numbers 03610700 for the boot and 03618000 for the tube. Does anyone have these used at a fair price or can anyone help me with a solution to making or fabricating something that will work? Thanks

Welcome to GTT. Some pictures would help us get a better idea of the situation. I'm thinking of using some 4" pvc for a tube and some of the 6" flexible  drain pipe  for adapting. Good Luck, Rick

Welcome to GTtalk!

Sort of thinking along the line of above. Using a flexable pipe to go up to the bagger.

One of the problems is the tube is 7 inches in diameter and I can't find anything like that. Maybe I should check a plumbing supply house although I would think PVC would be too heavy. I will check tomorrow. Thanks for your input.
