I have a customer locally who uses an old Gravely L with a car pusher on it to move dead vehicles around.

Wilbur, you're a Bolens guy.  Why is this listed as an 1850, I can't find any info about that model.  If the year and motor the guy lists are correct, this should be a 1455 or thereabouts.  But that sticker looks good to me.  Also, you can see a faint "hydrostatic" logo under the model number.

Someone made decals for it ..... the Lettering is all wrong which is a dead giveaway, plus there was never a 1850 made.

Wrong font on the hood decal.

I love the "looks better in person" part.

It's been my experience that tractors ALWAYS look better in the PICS than in person.

LOL!  You mean after you're able to actually see the cracked, dry-rotted tires, the bearings that rock back and forth 1/4 inch or more, the way half the linkages are nearly worn through...... :anvil_drop:

As said Bolens never made a 1850...

I say its a 1969 1250 with a replacement 14hp.

I used to settle for the half -blind-can-barely-see but they still got a little startled at my appearance. :rolling:
