I thought I would help Y'all feel like spring is here by posting these photos for you. I have been driving by these kinds of pastures for about a week now, full of Blue Bonnets and I can't remember the orange flowers right now.

That is beautiful!! I spent 4 months in San Antonio back in 1984 and was amazed by how beautiful the wild floweres were in February & March.  Then I remember finishing a fencing job April 1 when it was 103 and about a 100% humidity.

We had talked about moving down there, I did not get the Parks Manager job in Conroe and I wanted to be home for my daughters birthday, so was home by May 8th.

Have been back once for a short vacation.

Brian that sure looks great! We are still getting weather from the storm that started Saturday night. It is slowly moving out. Today it left a couple inches of ice pellets and freezing rain behind.

We are starting to see some signs of spring as well.  The wife’s Hibiscus started coming up this year and I can see some wild flowers in the yard.  It was in the 80's yesterday and it is supposed to be in the 80's again today.  I had to turn the fan on in the shop.  Sure feels good!

I noticed today that a couple of spots closer to the house needs the grass cut... And it begins.
